Summer-y McCall 8404

Here is McCall 8404! This was probably the easiest pattern purchase I ever made. Early to mid 50s? Check. Something interesting happening around the neck? Check. The opportunity for many buttons? Check, check, check check check.

It has such a killer shape.

The weather the day of my birthday last week was actually a perfect match for this dress, but it just looks like it belongs to the months of June or July. The belt may have hindered my cupcake consumption, anyway.

The fabric is 100% cotton and the buttons and matching buckle were a set from Etsy. I'd stay and talk more but I have an air bed to inflate - my dad flies in tomorrow morning for a short visit! Have a great week everyone. :)

I should be, you know, getting ready to fly this morning instead of checking my reader. I hope you have a lovely visit with your dad!

  6. The shape is so unlike anything I've seen, at least lately. Just very strong, but with enough room for nice additions. The fabric and buttons work perfectly together!
